At the core of this tool is the specialized POWERSTATE Brushless Motor, which provides the sustained power and performance equivalent to a 40cc gas engine. The system leverages REDLINK PLUS Intelligence, an advanced hardware and software network that enables full-circle communication between the tool, battery, and rapid charger. This protects the chainsaw against overloading, overheating, and over-discharging during intense applications, ensuring optimal tool performance and structural longevity. When paired with the high-capacity M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT HD12.0 Battery Pack, the chainsaw reaches full throttle in under one second with a variable speed trigger for complete cutting control, delivering up to 150 cuts in 6×6 cedar per charge.
